Practice makes perfect...so they say. I don't advocate perfection but I do believe that practice and more practice will help with your drawing skills and this is the aim of these challenges!
NEW CHALLENGE: "TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS DRAWING CHALLENGE" Registration open NOW until NZT10pm Thursday 22 November(see below)
This is a drawing challenge with a twist... WHAT: 12 consecutive days of drawing (from pics of Christmas themed objects), with a daily demo video (follow along with or watch later). Plus one extra day (day 13) when you will receive a video demonstration on how to create your very own personalized collage from your drawings (and the odd photograph or two). WHEN: beginning Saturday 1st December, 2018, and running for 13 days (including day 1) BUT there is no compulsion to finish in this time as your access will continue for at least 3 months after this (and you can keep posting to the facebook closed group at any time) WHERE: Online via daily email and youtube (and optionally facebook closed group “Drawing for Everyone Online Updates” where drawings can be shared.)
What others have to say (about the previous challenge): "I have really enjoyed the challenge. While I didn't always have time on the day, I tended to do two or three drawings at one time . I think the whistle was the most difficult. Put my name down for the next challenge, I look forward to it." Louretta R. “Thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. Never knowing what was coming up each morning became exciting, losing oneself mentally, great therapy!! Thank you Joanne…” Lesley. P
MORE ON HOW IT WORKS: You receive a daily email with a Christmas themed pic to download. You have a go at drawing the pic by following along with the 10-20 min youtube video demo by clicking on the link included in the daily email OR have a go and then click the link and watch the demo after (it’s up to you). NOTE: the drawing demos DO NOT contain verbal instructions* however the final collage video does. OPTIONALLY: Myself and many of the others enjoy sharing what we create…so perhaps you’d like to, too – if so please join our closed (and moderated) facebook group ”Drawing for Everyone Online Updates”.
